PREVIEW, PLAYBACK, AND EXPORT OF VIDEO/AUDIO RECORDINGS

The function of playback video in NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software enables the preview of archive events recordings from NOVUS recorders, as well as the video verification of previously triggered alarms from access control system.

OBJECTS CLASSIFICATION

The innovative INGENIUS PLUS image analysis technology used in NOVUS brand cameras uses i.a. an algorithm that distinguishes objects in the field of view of the camera, enabling the recognition of a person, vehicle, as well as a bicycle or motorcycle. The algorithm detects a specific object regardless the weather conditions. The functionality of an object classification enables e.g. a verification of taken parking places on the basis of a video image as well as reduces a number of false alarms in the peripheral security system. The function of counting objects with recognized shapes that has crossed a virtual line can be used in objects such as galleries commercial and other public facilities with high intensity movement. The results from individual cameras are displayed regularly.

THERMOVISION

Cameras that work in an infrared stream light, so called thermovisual cameras are crucial elements of visual protection system of a facility. Due to the operatory specifications, they are resistant to weather conditions and featured with a high effectiveness of a man detection even in a complete darkness or when the area is not illuminated.

CONTROL OF PTZ CAMERAS

The application allows for quick and intuitive control of PTZ as well as stationary cameras, these ones equipped with a motor-zoom lens. The control is available from the level of the image as well as from dedicated PTZ tools. When using cameras such as „fisheye” there is a possibility of creating virtual views and applying virtual PTZ in places where the installation of multiple cameras is limited.

STARLIGHT PRO CAMERAS

Colorful and clear image even after dark, thanks to the new SONY STARVIS sensor. Thanks to the use of more efficient sensor allows you to display a color image at very low light levels, where cameras with standard sensor would go into black and white mode, losing the detail and color information.

MULTIPLE MONITORS OPERATION

NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software gives a possibility to preview images from cameras on multiple monitors in up to 4k resolution. Division of the cameras displayed on monitors can be configurated freely, that is accurate and comfortable for the operator. Decoding images of the cameras is carried out through the processing power of a graphic card of any producent (DXVA technology).

COMPANY STRUCTURE

It enables defining an organizational structure of a company and so to assign there the employees, what significantly increases clarity, as well as functionality of the program. It is possible to, e.g. give an authority to the operators or generate working time reports only for a selected part of the organization’s structure.

ACCESS CONTROL TO LIFTS AND FLOORS

KS3000-IP-ELV lift controllers within the relay modules enable cooperation with control lifts systems. In dependence on a chosen solution, reader installed in front of the lift entrance can control the call of the lift. The reader, that is installed inside the lift, controls access to the particular floors. It is possible to simply assign an authorization to AC system cards as regards an access to a single floor or multiple floors. In addition, the operator of the system can periodically unblock all of the floors or once a chosen floor on request of a user that does not have a card. All of the floors can also be unblocked with the help of emergence button. Maximally, one controller can support one lift and up to 69 floors. Above 5 floors, additional relay modules are required. To the reader inside of the lift, it is possible to assign a camera that is installed and camera’s frame for a card reading event.

GLOBAL FUNCTIONS

Global zones allow for controlling the movement of individuals and vehicles in the areas under the access control with that functionality. It enables a quick localization of individuals or groups in particular zones. The information is visualized on the panels.

VIDEOVERIFICATION OF EVENTS

All of the events of access control system, as well as remained integrated systems, can be connected to the cameras of video surveillance with assigned zones. Thanks to that functionality, while searching the events register, there are also available images that are snaped from the moment of the event. That enables the efficient verification on the image.

BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION

NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC supports a biometric identification, which is one of the safest and the most advanced methods of entries/exits control in the access control system. The system provides a full integration with controllers based on a fingerprint pattern or a facial geometry recognition. The fingerprint pattern or facial geometry is to be assigned in a frame of defining a user of NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software that is common for all of the identifiers- card, access code, QR-code. The integrated biometrical KZ3000FP controllers enable such a form of identification.

IMPORT/EXPORT OF USERS

Functional import/export of users database in CSV format. System admin can in a convenient way make some required modifications in the users database in CSV file and then import it to the software.

Evacuation control with the use of report option in connection with global zones control.

VISUALIZATION OF THE SYSTEM ON PANELS

The function of the operator’s panels in the application allows for the operation of NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC in a specific facility. The operator is able to transfer themselves between various layers of a graphic interface, on which interactive icons of access control system elements (controllers, doors, controlling entrances etc.) are placed. It is a convenient solution that enables controlling the facility intuitively by selecting an appropriate panel and carrying out operations on the specified elements of the system, all in an easy way. Additionally, it is possible to place i.a. a stack of current events that enables filtrated preview of events that occur in a specific facility, e.g. events concerning the access or triggered alarms etc.

ACCESS AFTER CONFIRMATION BY THE OPERATOR

For an additional security of important passages, the door can only be opened after verification and confirmation by the operator that observes the system work. After placing the validated card on the reader, the system generates a notification at the operator’s workstation, which verifies the user’s identity based on the image added to the system and grants access by clicking the corresponding button on the screen. If the operator does not see the door directly, a video stream from an integrated NOVUS camera which is monitoring the controlled passage can be used to verify the identity of the user, so called video verification.

NUMBER PLATES RECOGNITION

NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software in connection to IP LPR NOVUS 6000 series cameras creates advanced license number plates recognition system that enables automatizing control of the passage and evidence of the vehicles. The system enables creating a central evidence of license number plates. When they are detected, it is supposed to generate an alarm notification, e.g. alarming about a vehicle that appeared at the petrol station and whose number plate matches with those associated with the fuel theft.

OPERATION OF A PARKING LOT WITH CONTROLLED ENTRANCE

The NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software, in conjunction with the NOVUS 6000 series LPR IP cameras creates advanced license number plates recognition system that enables automatizing the control of entrances/ exits and evidence of vehicles. The area of controlled facility can be divided into parking zones with assigned entrances/exits. In addition, zones can be visualized on panels by presenting the exact list of vehicles that are currently in the zone. For each zone, there can be a specific maximum number of vehicles that are allowed to stay. After crossing the boundary of the zone, the vehicles will not be allowed.

The software has been equipped with a dedicated tool that offers a range of functions that enable an efficient management of entrance control, such as: displaying regularly recognized license number plates within their miniature images, as well as detailed description of events, manual acceptance of vehicle entrance and others.

The system also supports ticket printers within QR-codes , as well as QR-codes readers. For one exit, multiple printers and buttons can be defined. The ticket can be printed after pressing the button by a driver of a vehicle or by an operator who confirms it. The validation of the ticket can be defined.

REGISTRATION AND ASSESSMENT OF WORKING TIME

On-line registration of entries/exits enables a quick preview of the employee presence status in the company, calculation of working time in accordance with the schedule assigned to each employee and generation various types of periodic reports. Standard access control readers installed on gates or T&A terminals designed for this purpose can be used to register entries/exits. Additionally, integration with T&A terminals enables registration and calculation of exits/ entries during the working day- business, private and breaks. The biometric terminal model enables the usage of a fingerprint for registration. The software also offers the option of generating T&A reports- by the operator or automatically, according to the schedule. The report saved as a CSV file can be used as an exchange file for integration with HR and payroll programs.

NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software enables creating systems on the basis of multiple distributed servers. The management of them can be done in a centralized way from one or more supervisory centres. It is an ideal solution for commercial and banking chains or facilities with a domestic or even global reach.

VISUALIZATION AND OPERATION OF ALARM SYSTEM

The system allows for an advanced monitoring of an alarm system state thanks to receiving such events as e.g. burglary, sabotage, anti-masking, triggering entry, forced alarm, fire alarm, damage with an information about a defect, battery breakdown or recharging, on/off of the output and many others. In connection with the functionality of system visualization on panels, as well as defining scenarios of operation, enables reducing the reaction time on arised alarm events to the minimum.

REMOTE CONTROL OF DEVICES

Thanks to the functionality of controlling control (alarm) outputs, it is possible to remotely control devices (e.g. lightning, air conditioning etc.) from the level of interface program.
