Multi-monitor support
Enables simultaneous viewing of multiple protected areas on monitors with resolutions up to 4K, ideal for surveillance centers and facilities requiring constant control. Video views displayed on monitors can be configured in any way that is appropriate and convenient for the operator. Image decoding from cameras can be performed using the computational power of the GPU graphics card processor.
PTZ camera control
Fast and intuitive control of PTZ cameras, as well as stationary cameras equipped with motor-zoom lenses. Control is available from the image level and a dedicated PTZ tool. Using fisheye cameras, we have the ability to create virtual views and use virtual PTZ in places where installing multiple cameras is limited.
DEEP LEARNING IMAGE ANALYSIS
Enables detection of suspicious behavior and classification of object types. The applied algorithm allows the camera to recognize the shape of humans, cars and motorcycles. It also includes other analytical functions that improve security and allow for faster response to threats.
Preview, playback, recording download
Exceptionally efficient display of multiple video streams simultaneously without excessive load on the computer’s main CPU processor thanks to image decoding using the computational power of GPU graphics card processors. Intuitive recording download from playback tools or dedicated menu. Possibility of automatic recording download according to defined schedules.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging is created based on thermal radiation emitted by objects. Thanks to this, thermal cameras enable effective observation even in complete darkness and during adverse weather conditions such as fog, where standard cameras, even those equipped with IR illuminators, do not perform well. Additionally, thermal cameras have been equipped with image analysis functions, thanks to which the effectiveness of object detection is very high.
Thanks to the “Early fire detection” function, the camera can detect fires in the initial stage, before flames or smoke appear. By analyzing the image, the camera detects point heat sources with high temperature, which allows for quick alarm generation. This function is particularly useful in places with high fire risk, such as warehouses, factories and public utility facilities, enabling quick response and damage minimization.
Thermo Dual Vision is a function available in dual cameras. It enables overlaying thermal imaging on visual image, which significantly improves the detail of the recorded image.
ACTIVE DETERRENCE
Active deterrence allows the camera to detect objects and react to them in order to deter potential intruders. When the camera detects an object, it can shine continuous or flashing light, emit warning sounds or voice messages (the number and selection of deterrence functions may vary depending on the camera model). This function aims to protect the monitored place, discourage the intruder from further actions and deter them without the need for security intervention.
IP AND HYBRID SYSTEMS
Integration with IP and hybrid systems provides flexibility in adapting to existing monitoring infrastructure, enabling smooth transition to new technologies.
ADVANCED NETWORK PROTOCOLS

DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software allows building systems in a multi-client, multi-server model based on multiple distributed servers and operator stations. Their management can be carried out centrally from one or multiple surveillance centers. This is an ideal solution for retail chains, banks or facilities with national or even global reach.
VEHICLE ACCESS CONTROL AUTOMATION
Automatic license plate number recognition enables quick entry and exit, accelerating traffic and increasing parking user comfort. NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software combined with NOVUS brand 6000 series IP LPR cameras creates an advanced license plate number recognition system enabling automation of transit control and vehicle registration. The controlled facility area can be divided into parking zones with assigned entrances/exits.
The software has been equipped with a dedicated tool offering a range of functions enabling efficient transit control management, such as: real-time display of recognized license plate numbers along with their thumbnail images and detailed event descriptions, manual acceptance of vehicle entry requests and others.
VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Complete register of entering and exiting vehicles allows for accurate tracking of transit history and better security control.
PARKING ZONE MANAGEMENT
Flexible adjustment of rules and limits in each zone enables optimal use of parking spaces, minimizing the risk of parking overflow.
Zones can be visualized on panels showing the quantity, and after clicking also the exact list of vehicles currently in the zone. For each zone, a maximum number of vehicles that can be in it can be determined, after which vehicles will not be allowed entry.
PRINTERS AND QR CODE READERS
Support for printers and QR code readers optimizes access control, offering modern solutions for handling both guests and employees. Multiple printers and multiple buttons can be defined for one entrance. A ticket can be printed after pressing a button by the vehicle driver or after approval by the operator. Ticket validity time can be defined.
LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION
NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software combined with NOVUS brand 6000 series IP LPR cameras creates an advanced license plate number recognition system enabling automation of vehicle access control and vehicle registration.
The system enables creation of a central register of license plate numbers whose detection should trigger alarm generation, notifications, e.g., alerting about the appearance at a gas station of a vehicle with license plate numbers for which fuel theft was previously committed.
SYSTEM MONITORING
System monitoring and its visualization on panels enables constant overview of all alarm devices status, ensuring quick threat and failure detection and allowing for immediate response in case of danger.
The operator can switch between different layers of the graphical interface, on which interactive icons of system elements are placed. This is a convenient solution that allows easy control of the facility by intuitively selecting the appropriate panel. Additionally, the panel can include current event stack or warning handling tools, enabling clear overview of events occurring at a given facility.
EVACUATION REPORT
Supports crisis situation management, ensuring safe evacuation and risk minimization.
PERSONNEL STATUS CONTROL IN FACILITY

TIME AND ATTENDANCE REGISTRATION
Online entry/exit registration enables quick overview of employee attendance status in the company, calculating working time according to the schedule assigned to each employee, handling shift work, overtime and night hours, and generating various types of periodic reports.
Standard access control readers or dedicated RCP terminals can be used for entry/exit registration. Each employee can receive email notifications regarding time and attendance settlement.
RCP REPORT TEMPLATES
Ability to generate RCP reports by operator or automatically according to schedule. Report content can be defined by the operator using report templates, enabling precise creation of required documents and includes categories such as absences, overtime or shift work.
Report saved as CSV file can be used for data exchange with HR-payroll programs – generating data exchange files streamlines HR-payroll processes and minimizes the risk of errors in employee settlement.
INTEGRATION WITH ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
Time and attendance registration function based on access control readers makes the RCP system part of the security management system, facilitating access control and employee attendance monitoring.
T&A TERMINALS WITH BIOMETRIC OPTION
Devices equipped with keyboard, card readers and optional biometric module ensure higher security level and identification accuracy, minimizing the risk of errors typical for traditional registration methods. Additionally enables registration and settlement of exits/entries during the working day – business, private and break.
COMPLETE ATTENDANCE RECORD
The system offers quick overview of employee attendance and frequency, allowing for easier working time monitoring.
COMPANY STRUCTURE
Enables defining the company’s organizational structure and assigning employees to it, significantly increasing program transparency and functionality. It is possible, for example, to assign permissions to operators or generate working time reports only for a selected part of the organizational structure.
GLOBAL FUNCTIONS
Global zones, visualized on panels, combined with virtual zones and global anti-passback function, enable tracking occupancy of individual areas and facilities. This facilitates quick person location, managing their transfer between zones and blocking zones after alarm system arming.
Global airlocks allow mutual monitoring of door opening status in defined groups, which is particularly important in access control systems such as penitentiaries.
ELEVATOR AND FLOOR ACCESS CONTROL
Controllers and expansion modules enable precise management of floor access, increasing security and eliminating unauthorized movement. Depending on the chosen solution, a reader installed before elevator entrance can control its calling, and one installed in the elevator cabin controls access to individual floors.
Access permissions for individual floors or floor groups can be easily assigned to KD system cards. Additionally, the system operator can temporarily unlock all floors or unlock a selected floor once at the request of a user without a card. All floors can also be unlocked using an emergency button.
A camera installed in the elevator cabin can be assigned to the cabin reader and the function of saving a frame to the card reading event can be configured (video verification).
VIDEO VERIFICATION
After using an identifier (e.g., card, access code, etc.) by the user, the user’s photo saved in the system database appears on the screen, linked with a frame from the camera placed above the reader. Thanks to this solution, quick person identification is possible, increasing security through additional identity verification.
All events from both the access control system and other systems can be linked with selected video surveillance cameras. Thanks to this functionality, during event log search, photos from the moment of event occurrence are also available, enabling their efficient verification on image.
BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION
Biometric identification support ensures secure and convenient access exclusively for authorized persons. This solution eliminates the risk of losing access cards and their unauthorized transfer.
ACCESS AFTER OPERATOR CONFIRMATION
For additional security of key passages, door opening can occur only after verification and confirmation by the operator monitoring system operation. After bringing an authorized card close to the reader, the system generates a notification at the operator station, who verifies the user’s identity based on their photo added to the system and grants access by clicking the appropriate button on the screen. In case the operator does not see the passage directly, the video stream from an integrated NOVUS brand device monitoring the controlled passage can be used for user identity verification – so-called access video verification.
HIGHEST LEVEL OF SECURITY
Properly designed, installed and configured access control system using NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AC software and HID® Aero® brand access control devices meets the requirements of PN-EN 60839-11-1:2014-01 standard for security grade 4 (Grade 4), guaranteeing maximum protection level adapted to specific facility requirements.
OSDP V2 PROTOCOL SUPPORT
The ability to use modern readers with RS-485 port (OSDP) ensures installation flexibility. Bidirectional, encrypted transmission between the reader through controllers to the server and operator station protects data from unauthorized access, guaranteeing the highest level of security. The system monitors connection and communication, ensuring operational reliability, while tamper alarm transmission from the reader additionally increases protection against interference.
FLEXIBLE COMMUNICATION STRUCTURE
Communication in the system is carried out using IP protocol between the server and intelligent HID® Aero® X1100 IP (Master) controllers and RS-485 standard between extension controllers. The system can consist entirely of intelligent HID® Aero® X1100 IP controllers or in a mixed structure of intelligent HID® Aero® X1100 IP (Master) controllers and HID® Aero® X100 RS (SLAVE) access extension controllers. In both cases, transmission is fully encrypted, ensuring system stability and security.
PARAMETERIZED MONITORING LINES
The use of double resistor (DEOL) enables signaling of four line states: normal, alarm, tamper and fault, increasing security of areas protected by sensors.
DATA ENCRYPTION
All communication in the system from card through reader, controller to server and operator station is fully encrypted, ensuring a high level of protection against unauthorized access and complete protection and security of transmitted information.
FACILITY CODE (FC) SUPPORT
The facility code (FC) function enables access control to the system by assigning cards to specific facility codes. This ensures that only cards with the appropriate code gain access, increasing security. The system allows handling up to 8 different facility codes, providing greater flexibility in access management.
ACCESS AFTER READING MORE THAN ONE CARD
Access is only possible when at least two authorized persons are present, minimizing the risk of unauthorized entry. This function proves effective in high-security facilities such as server rooms, laboratories or rooms with sensitive data, preventing situations where one person could independently gain access to critical locations.
